You have done nothing wrong and no, you are not being punished by the Universe

Do you subscribe to the belief that we’re all here [experiencing this dense plane of existence] because we are being punished for doing something wrong in the higher realms? 

I think it’s safe to say that we have all heard a flavor of this widespread belief system that foundationally stems from the age-old religious story of the fallen angels that were cast out of heaven for “rebelling” against God. You may or may not be surprised by the number of people who truly believe we are “in hell” on this planet.

For anyone who has dealt with hardship, betrayal, disease, loss, or misfortune it can be easy to subscribe to this belief system in order to make sense of the, “why?” 

However, subscribing to this belief means you have unprocessed shame. Shame that leads to hopelessness, guilt, fear, victim mentality, self-judgment, inner criticism or martyr, and self-sacrificing tendencies. 

When we dive into the shame spiral, it shuts down our capacity for self-compassion, which is key to gaining wisdom and seeing the higher perspective on a situation.

I don’t believe the angels were “cast out” of heaven. Just like us, the angels are an aspect of God/Universal Source that chose to “experience” deeper depths of emotion, to feel the vast array of emotional force that ignites the spark of creative energy. To understand that we are all geniuses with the power of creation in some way shape or form, experiencing the cause and effect of what we made manifest into physical form, and more importantly, gaining wisdom from it.

However, while, yes, for the most part, everything outside of us is a mirror reflection, sometimes what we experience is unexplainable and our ultimate soul lesson may be mastering the law of detachment by not taking it personally.

The way I see it, “God,” “Source,” “Universal Source,” however you want to label it, is just a data warehouse. The epicenter or zero point of all data and information gathered through all intelligent life forms that builds and builds and builds upon itself. The Source of infinite knowledge and experience.

Our galaxy very much mimics the pattern of a Fibonacci spiral, doesn’t it? The Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers where each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers, building on the foundation of the preceding numbers.

ALL lifeforms are an expression of some form of intelligence. A rock is an expression of the densest physical plane of existence and will not "change" or "transform" without outside force. Another way to look at it is Universal Source is a higher consciousness “cloud” and we are all the devices storing and expressing data and information that’s either stored on our device or through downloading information from the “higher consciousness cloud.”

You may ask, “Ok, great but then what’s the point of that?” I will point you to a quote by Albert Einstein:

“Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience. You need experience to gain wisdom.”

Universal Source had to expand in order to build on itself (like the Fibonacci sequence), and in a way, we are an expression of that same pattern through our own form of energetic and soul fragmentation that happens in the lower planes of existence as we encounter a traumatic event. Much like Source, we are "whole" in the higher planes of existence. Data and information alone are nothing if not expressed and brought into form. Life evolves and builds upon itself through the expression of intelligence gathered through predictive programming and an algorithm of cause and effect that is encoded within us all and ever-evolving as we gain wisdom and pivot away from that predictive programming, through free will choice. 

When you truly understand this, it’s easier to not take everything personally.

Yes, there is a lot of evil on this planet, but that's because it continues to build upon itself when we don't fully liberate, heal and gain wisdom from the pain we experience - this is why we continue to reincarnate. To "pick up the pieces" of our soul and energetic fragmentation that is the byproduct of pain and trauma so the wisdom can be gained. We also continue to feed our fear, worry and anxiety into the un-liberated pain, so it just keeps perpetuating, getting stuck in a continuous loop.

The most important element to remember is when we fully free ourselves of a cycle or pivot away from a pattern with a person or painful energy that has orbited us for many lifetimes by simply detaching from the situation to observe the higher perspective of the connection, we tap into and access an even higher power that has been “held up” in, or detained by, the connection all along.

You essentially heal and integrate that fragmentation. But not at just an individual level - you heal your ancestral lineage and the collective as a whole. The "code" that makes up the algorithm and predictive programming shifts and new data and information is uploaded into the "human consciousness cloud." It has a ripple effect.

So…we are here to experience, gain wisdom, learn, evolve and share the love. And you unlock that wisdom through self-compassion and deep inner knowing, which requires a willingness to witness and observe all parts of you, the good and the unfavorable bits. 

And most importantly, you tap into a greater capacity for love and compassion for self and all walks of life. You have done nothing wrong and it's time to free yourself of that belief and the corresponding shame.
